Born and raised in Northern California, Aman has a BA from California State University, Sacramento and a Master’s from the University of California, Davis. Sanj is originally from California and has a BA from California State University, Sacramento. Sanj received his AMI training from the Montessori Training Center of New England. He enjoys exploring the great outdoors, cooking, and going on road trips.
Danielle, our Assistant Director, studied English literature and creative writing, as well as child psychology, at California State University, Sacramento. She completed her Lead Teacher training from the Montessori Institute of San Diego. Danielle integrates her creative background into the classroom to offer a well-rounded experience for her students. “My goal is to lay the foundations for kind, curious, and empathetic individuals who will one day make their own unique imprints in their world. As our school expands, I’m excited to grow and learn with every student.”
Dama was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and holds a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in Educational Management. She completed her AMI Primary teacher training at Montessori Northwest. From a young age, Dama knew she wanted to work with children, and this passion shines through in her interactions with her students. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending quality time with her family.
Bella grew up in Lincoln and has spent the last three years working in freelance childcare, focusing on children ages 1-10. Her passion for childcare and social services has always driven her career aspirations. Bella is excited to join our team at Rocklin Ranch Montessori and begin her journey in caregiving. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Kelsey grew up in the greater Sacramento area and graduated with a BA in Asian Studies from CSU Sacramento. After moving to Japan to work as an English teacher for two years, she discovered her passion for education. Upon returning to the U.S., Kelsey pursued Early Childhood Education at Sierra College and began working in the field as a daycare teacher. She has since completed her AMI Primary Teacher Training at Montessori Northwest in Portland. Kelsey is dedicated to fostering social-emotional learning and encouraging creativity through art in her classroom. Her enthusiasm for nurturing children's growth and development shines through in her teaching. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys exploring the arts, spending time outdoors, and engaging in creative projects.
Hannah grew up in Auburn, California, and attended Sierra College for Early Childhood Education. Her passion for working with children began with her Montessori education, inspiring her to pursue a career in childcare. Before joining Rocklin Ranch Montessori, she spent over two years primarily caring for infants. Hannah enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and spending time with her husband and their pets outside of teaching. She is excited to be part of the Rocklin Ranch Montessori community and is dedicated to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for every child.
Anika recently moved to Rocklin from Southeast Idaho. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Marriage and Family Studies with a focus on Child Development. Passionate about early childhood education, Anika finds joy in nurturing young minds and supporting their growth. She is dedicated to creating a warm and engaging learning environment where children can thrive. Outside of the classroom, Anika enjoys music, pickleball, baking, hiking, and spending time with her family. She is excited to be part of the Rocklin Ranch Montessori community and looks forward to making a positive impact!
Karina grew up in Loomis and pursued Deaf Studies for two years at Sierra College. With 8 years of experience as a nanny, she has worked with children of all ages, from newborns to teens. In her free time, Karina enjoys camping, fishing, and running. She is thrilled to be a part of Rocklin Ranch Montessori, not only to further her career in early childhood education but also because she loves witnessing the growth and learning of young children.
Jailee Vang was born and raised in Sacramento, California, and has been a dedicated member of the Rocklin Ranch Montessori team for the past four years. She finds great joy in working with children, nurturing their development, and watching them grow each day. Her warm and caring nature creates a supportive environment where children feel safe and encouraged to explore and learn. Outside of work, Jailee enjoys discovering new restaurants and exploring the local foodie scene. She also loves hiking and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Claudia Lopez has over ten years of experience in early childhood education, including a decade as a teacher at another Montessori school. She is committed to creating a warm and engaging learning environment where children can grow and thrive. Being bilingual in Spanish, she connects easily with diverse families, ensuring every child feels understood and included. Passionate about early education, Claudia fosters a safe, positive classroom where children feel valued and encouraged to explore their curiosity.
Blake grew up in Yuba City, California, and has always had a passion for helping others. She has experience as a toddler teacher at Beale Air Force Base and as a behavioral therapist for children with autism. She also spent time working in law enforcement, where she developed strong communication and leadership skills. Blake is excited to be part of the Rocklin Ranch Montessori team, where she can help children develop essential cognitive, social, and emotional skills. She values creating a supportive space for children to explore and grow confident. Outside of work, Blake enjoys strength training, spending time with family and friends, and making frequent trips to Disneyland.
Madison grew up in Antelope, CA, and is pursuing her Early Childhood Education degree at Sierra College. Before joining Rocklin Ranch Montessori, she worked as a teacher’s aide for preschool students with special needs, where she developed a strong passion for early childhood education. She is excited to continue growing as an educator and expanding her knowledge of child development. Madison finds it especially rewarding to watch children learn, grow, and develop new daily skills. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, watching movies, and spending quality time with her family.
Sandy has a degree in Forest Technology and brings a diverse background in both environmental and educational fields. She previously worked for the Forest Service as part of a timber crew and as a firefighter. With over 11 years of experience as a preschool aide at Cordova Parks and Recreation Department, Sandy has a strong foundation in early childhood education. She has also contributed to K-6 education as an art docent and dedicated many years as a classroom volunteer and Girl Scout troop leader. Passionate about fostering creativity and hands-on learning, Sandy enjoys camping, cooking, and crafting in her free time. She is excited to be a part of both Rocklin Ranch and Roseville Ranch Montessori, where she can continue working with children and supporting their growth and development.
Originally from Jalisco, Mexico, Betzy grew up in California and recently earned her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from American River College. With 15 years of experience working with children, Betzy is continually inspired by their kindness, energy, and the joy they bring into her life. She finds immense fulfillment in her work, believing it to be the most rewarding job of all. Betzy loves to travel, watch movies, and stay active. "I’m thrilled to be part of this incredible school and to have the opportunity to expand my knowledge. Rey Davis is a dedicated teacher with over four years of experience in elementary education. She earned her degree in Elementary Education with a minor in teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Brigham Young University. Rey has worked in traditional and dual-language immersion classrooms, collaborating with Spanish-speaking teachers to create engaging student lessons. With strong organization, communication, and adaptability, Rey creates a positive and inclusive classroom where students feel supported and encouraged to grow.
